employees. May develop policies and procedures and oversee the implementation and execution of them.
Position Summary
The Strategy Ambassador is an adaptable and flexible team player who has a strong foundation in one or more
general functional area within a complex business function with significant professional expertise. This role
provides rotational support through each general functional area during the highest operational season. The role
will move across different teams throughout the year, ensuring that the business function meets the demands of
our clients during peak seasons. In effect, this means that the role will move from one area to another when the
departments are the busiest. These rotations will depend on the needs of the department and the employee.
This role will balance operational, and strategy demands, as it provides just-in-time support to our employees and
may be responsible lead for the coordination and assessment of one or more initiatives for the District. As this role
works across multiple teams, the strategy ambassador will develop, refine, and share recommendations to senior
leaders within the business function across the District. This goal requires a high degree of flexibility and comfort
working in the demands of a high-volume environment.
Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities
1. Provides as-needed, just-in-time support to business function teams during peak operational seasons to
ensure seamless quality support for our clients. A sample of all of these duties are below to provide an
overview, however the rotations will be dependent on both the needs of the employee and the interests
of the employees.
2. Provides high quality customer service and support to our employees, ensuring that our principals have
their business function needs addresses quickly so that they can focus on teaching and learning
3. Identifies areas to improve cross-functional collaboration with the business function and other
departments
4. Monitor the implementation of new and existing programs and initiatives designed to address the needs
of the district and/or students; ensures adherence to mandated guidelines governing the activities or
program(s).
5. Serves in a liaison capacity; establishes and maintains partnerships with various external organizations,
and governmental agencies; interacts and works collaboratively with other departments within the
District.
6. Determines and acquires data required to accurately evaluate program performance and effectiveness;
utilizes data to report on program results, identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
or new district/ curriculum initiatives; presents recommendations to senior leaders to improve efficiency,
which may include the Top Level Leader of the business function.
7. Develops training and other materials necessary to effectively program support, resources, material and
training to stakeholders and program recipients.
8. Participates in the development of grant requests and proposals, as appropriate.
9. Develops and revises policies, regulations, curriculum, manual and other materials related to the assigned
program.
10. Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities
expected for this position.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or 4 years of equivalent experience.
- 5 in program coordination or professional business experience related to the functional area assigned.
- Candidate must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting background check. Non-refundable fee
(approximately $50.00) paid by the employee.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree from accredited college or university.
- Campus-based experience, as a teacher, coach, or administrator
- Experience working within business function. Business Function Certification, or other relevant industry
credential
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of one or more HR processes, earned through work in HR or as a campus administrator
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with staff, parents, students, government agencies, and
- Ability to quickly learn new HR processes and team with new individuals
- Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality customer service and support in high-volume context and
- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills including use of collaborative platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively plan, prioritize, organize, and schedule work to meet established
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal policies and procedures as pertains to K-12 education
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge and skills using productivity tools (Microsoft Office Suite, Excel & Google).
