Required Qualifications And Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. A Master’s degree highly desirable.
- CPA license
- 10-15 years in public accounting with proven experience in senior-level work
- Demonstrated success in client relationship management and business development
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Well organized with good time management and multi-tasking skills
- Works well in a team environment and ability to maintain positive relationships with work teams and customers/clients
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Preferred experience using Microsoft Office applications, QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, and UltraTax
- Ability to work and think independently
- Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with fellow partners to develop and execute the firm’s strategic vision, identifying growth opportunities, and establishing long-term goals.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their unique needs, and providing expert advice to assist them in achieving their financial objectives.
- Practice Development: Oversee the development and expansion of the firm’s client base through networking, business development efforts and thought leadership activities.
- Financial Management: Ensure the firm’s health by monitoring revenue generation, managing expenses, and implementing sound financial practices.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of talented professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, professional growth, and exceptional client service.
- Compliance and Regulation: Stay abreast of the latest accounting standards, tax laws and regulatory changes, ensure the firm remains in full compliance with industry regulations.
- Quality Assurance: Uphold the highest level of quality in all accounting services provided by the firm, conducting regular reviews and maintaining accuracy and precision.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement measures to mitigate them, safeguarding the firm’s reputation and client relationships.
- Marketing and Branding: Represent the firm at industry events, seminars, and conferences, enhancing the firm’s visibility and reputation throughout the market.
- Collaboration: Work closely with partners from other departments to provide comprehensive solutions to clients and promote cross-selling opportunities.
- Continues Learning: Stay current with industry trends, accounting practices, and technological advancements to foster innovation and efficiency within the firm.
