Summary of Job Description:
We are seeking a junior Accountant is an entry-level position responsible for maintaining accurate financial records by performing tasks like data entry, processing invoices, reconciling bank statements, preparing financial reports, and assisting with the month-end closing process, all under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, while adhering to established accounting principles and company policies; seeking a highly detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and proficiency in accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable/Receivable Management:
- Process invoices, ensuring accuracy of vendor information and coding.
2. Maintain accounts receivable ledger by recording customer payments and sending reminders.
3. Conduct account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
· Financial Data Entry:
- Record daily transactions into the general ledger using appropriate accounting codes.
- Prepare journal entries for various transactions including daily sales, payroll, expenses, and adjustments.
· Financial Reporting:
1. Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
2. Generate standard financial reports and analyze key metrics as needed.
· Bank Reconciliation:
- Reconcile bank statements to the general ledger, identifying and investigating discrepancies.
· Audit Support:
- Gather and organize supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
- Assist with audit procedures as directed by senior accountants.
· Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies regarding financial reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks both desktop and online versions).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
