Inside Sales Representative - Lighting
Compensation: Base plus commission
(Base rate is Commensurate with experience)
Saylite, a well established manufacturer of commercial and industrial lighting fixtures, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to add to our team. This role will be located at our Carrollton facility and will be in-office.
Quick Summary: The Inside Sales Rep provides a consultative sales role in working with our Business partners (Agencies, architectural, contractor partners, end users, etc.) This position requires quoting of lighting specs, seeking alternative value engineering options, and when applicable, acting as the key conduit between large customer project orders, from initial order placement, coordination with the factory or vendors, through to delivery and project completion. This position reports to VP/General Manager.
Desired Experience:
- Previous lighting product sales experience
- 3 years experience with consultative sales in the construction building materials industries may be considered
- Proven experience working with commercial business partners (agencies, architects, contractors, end users)
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and organizatinal skills
- Proven problem resolution and decision-making skills
- Solid Microsoft Office skills (Word & Excel)
- ERP experience helpful (P21)
