About the Role :
We are seeking a proactive and strategic Director of Finance to elevate the SCGA’s financial performance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in overseeing key accounting functions, including managing budgeting, forecasting, general ledger operations, and financial reporting. In this role, they will be responsible for ensuring the organization’s financial health through accurate reporting, strategic analysis, and full compliance with GAAP, while collaborating with auditors and leading tax-related processes.
What You’ll Do :
Accounting Operations :
- Oversee the accurate and timely processing of all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger postings.
- Prepares reports, schedules and information necessary to manage daily accounting operations.
- Prepare and post accurate journal entries for multiple entities, ensuring timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions.
- Maintain timely and accurate posting of all financial transactions to the general ledger.
- Ensure the accurate and timely processing of all financial transactions, including reconciliations and month-end / year-end closing procedures.

The starting salary for this position is $110,000.
