Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role located in San Mateo, CA. As a Woodwind Teacher at Scherzo Music School, you will be responsible for providing high-quality woodwind (flute, saxophone, clarinet) lessons to students of all ages and levels. You will create personalized lesson plans, teach proper playing techniques, and inspire a love for music in your students.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in playing the flute, saxophone, and/or clarinet
- Strong knowledge of music theory, scales, and repertoire for woodwind instruments
- Previous teaching experience, preferably in a one-on-one setting
- Ability to effectively communicate and engage with students of all ages and skill levels
- Passion for music education and a desire to inspire and motivate students
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Reliability and professionalism
