Job Summary
The Executive Assistant to the President reports to the Chief of Staff and is responsible for the management of the President’s Office and acting as staff for the College Component Units and President’s Leadership Council. This position coordinates and performs a variety of highly complex, confidential, administrative support activities and requires flexible hours.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as an executive assistant.
  • Advanced proficiency with clerical skills, to include typing, and utilizing MS Office (Outlook, Word/Excel, PowerPoint).*
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize workloads under critical timelines, manage details, and work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, and ability to relate and interact within the College environment and the community.

  • The successful completion of a pre-interview Clerical/Typing/MS Office skills tests will be required to move forward.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting a President’s Office.
  • Experience in higher education.

  • Office Environment: This role may involve being in a stationary position in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse (or applicable equipment) and telephone. This role may also involve standing and walking for periods of time, and the use of hands and moving objects on occasion, of up to 10 lbs.
  • Noise Level: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
