We are seeking an experienced and strategic Risk Management Executive Vice President to join our team. The Risk Management Executive Vice President is responsible for developing and implementing risk management strategies, policies, and procedures to protect the organization’s assets, reputation, and financial stability. This is an opportunity for a long-term position and to join a growing company.
Responsibilities
- Provides mentoring and leadership to Safety staff and sets the tone and the pace for the department’s performance.
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
- Identifies, designs and implements safety programs and other training that provides members with tools to implement safe work practices and procedures in their operations.
- Investigate accidents or near-misses and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents
- Champion activities designed to empower associates to take ownership of and lead safety efforts in the field.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, NFPA, and other federal, state, and local safety regulations
- Stay abreast of evolving safety and environmental regulations impacting our industries, proactively adapting policies and procedures.
- Build and lead a high-performing safety team, fostering professional growth and development.
- Promote a proactive approach to identifying and addressing safety challenges.
- Provides staff with clear direction and communicates strategies to allow them to develop the necessary tools and programs in their various areas of expertise.
