About The Team
This crucial role supports our Service team. The Service Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and scheduling all service visits for clients, ensuring optimal use of resources, and delivering excellent customer service. This role involves working closely with field service engineers, customers, and internal teams to manage service requests, maintain schedules, and address any changes or conflicts.
Position Summary
This full-time position requires working from the office 100% of the time. This role may also require working on weekends or evenings depending on customer needs and business operations.
Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $65k - $85k. In addition to a competitive market-based salary, Sciton provides an opportunity to participate in equity/stock incentive programs, a profit-sharing bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package, including 401K with matching.
In This Role, You Will
- Schedule Service Appointments: Coordinate and schedule service visits for customers, ensuring proper time allocation for each job.
- Customer Communication: Communicate with customers to confirm visits, provide service details, and handle rescheduling or cancellations as needed.
- Resource Management: Assign service technicians based on their skills, availability, and proximity to the job site.
- Maintain Service Calendar: Update and maintain an accurate service calendar, ensuring all visits are clearly visible and properly scheduled.
- Customer Support: Address customer inquiries related to service scheduling, track service issues, and resolve scheduling conflicts or delays.
- Monitor Service Progress: Track the progress of scheduled services to ensure they are completed within agreed time frames.
- Data Entry & Documentation: Enter and maintain accurate records of service requests, schedules, and job details in the service management system.
- Problem Resolution: Proactively handle any scheduling issues, delays, or service conflicts and provide appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with technicians, customer service representatives, and management to ensure seamless coordination and high customer satisfaction.
Essential Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in scheduling, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proficiency in scheduling software, Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, flexibility in adjusting schedules, and a customer-focused attitude.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced office environment with potential occasional fieldwork for site visits.
- Regular communication with both customers and field teams.
