We are seeking a skilled and experienced General Contractor to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, and completion.
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate implementation of project specifications.
- Oversee the work of subcontractors and laborers on-site to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Conduct construction estimating to prepare budgets and timelines for projects.
- Perform tasks related to frame carpentry, drywall installation, painting, and caulking as needed.
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently when required for site preparation or material handling.
- Maintain a clean and organized construction site to promote safety and efficiency.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns.
Skills
- Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques.
