Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and manage an accounting and finance team to support the company’s growth and operational needs.
Process Development: Design and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with GAAP and other relevant standards.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
Cost Management: Develop and manage cost accounting processes to track production costs and improve profitability.
Audit & Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal and external audits, tax filings, and regulatory requirements.
ERP & Systems Optimization: Collaborate with IT to enhance or implement financial systems to support business growth.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with operations, supply chain, and other departments to align financial strategies with organizational goals.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA designation preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of accounting and finance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Manufacturing industry experience is required.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and scale accounting processes in a growing organization.
