Self-Help is seeking a Special Projects Manager to join our Executive Staff team!
The Special Projects Manager will provide critical, high-level level project leadership for strategic initiatives at Self-Help and will generally be assigned projects based on organizational need and their own areas of experience and expertise.
WHAT You’ll DO :
- Coordinate and manage projects designed with senior leaders and critical to advancing organizational priorities.
- Portfolio of projects will be based on evolving organizational needs and Special Projects Manager’s areas of expertise. Examples of potential initial projects include :
- Identify key areas of opportunity and develop a strategy for Self-Help’s work on affordable housing in California, building on Self-Help’s current lending, real estate development, and policy work.
- Track and document progress against Self-Help’s 5-year strategic plan.
- Engage in outreach and product development related to Self-Help Federal Credit Union green lending expansion.
- Other project types and responsibilities may include :
- Provide research and analytical support on major financial and operational decisions.
- Work with senior executives to organize and mobilize organizational resources around new initiatives or key operational priorities.
- Support the organization’s relationships with key partners, funders, and collaborators, for example, joining a collaborative table of mission-aligned partners to advance specific work or agendas.
- Facilitate and organize meetings of senior managers within the assigned portfolio.

Salary : $107,400 - $150,279
