AND Services is a large home-services company in Tampa seeking a dynamic and experienced Comptroller to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our business from a financial perspective. The ideal candidate will make sure there are strategies and controls in place to keep the business in good fiscal health, as well as making sure each employee involved in accounting performs to those standards. This role requires someone who has proven leadership ability and experience in management.
*Duties*
- Conduct general ledger reconciliation and maintain accurate financial records
- Manage corporate accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Develop and monitor budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure financial statements are in line with regulatory requirements
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
- Supervise the accounting team and ensure timely completion of financial reporting
- Oversee governmental accounting compliance and reporting
*Requirements*
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred
- Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and forecasting
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel for financial analysis
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines consistently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
