Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Manager to oversee our overnight cleaning operations in multiple hotel properties across the Bethesda and Oxon Hill area. This role requires a strong background in janitorial services and kitchen cleaning. The ideal candidate is a proven leader who can manage teams, ensure quality standards, and maintain client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage overnight cleaning operations across multiple hotel properties.
- Supervise and train cleaning staff to meet operational standards and client expectations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety protocols.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with hotel management and clients.
- Manage staffing schedules and adjust resources to meet property demands.
- Handle employee performance, resolve issues, and maintain a positive work environment.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and order cleaning supplies as needed.
- Provide hands-on support during peak periods or staff shortages.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in janitorial services and kitchen cleaning (required).
- Minimum of 2 years of management experience, preferably in hospitality or cleaning services.
- Hotel background is a plus.
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work overnight shifts and travel between properties as needed.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
