Park Attendant - Theme Park

The Seasonal Park Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the theme park to ensure an enjoyable experience for all guests. This role involves performing cleaning tasks throughout the park, including restrooms, dining areas, walkways, ride queues, and other public spaces. The Seasonal Park Attendant will work diligently to uphold the park's cleanliness standards and contribute to a positive atmosphere for visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning & Maintenance: Sweep, mop, and sanitize public areas, including walkways, restrooms, ride queues, trash disposal areas, and dining locations.
• Trash Management: Empty and replace trash bags in bins throughout the park. Maintain the cleanliness of waste disposal areas and assist with the transportation of waste materials to designated areas.
• Guest Engagement: Provide excellent customer service by offering a friendly and approachable demeanor when interacting with guests. Assist with any inquiries and notify management of any issues or safety concerns.
• Safety & Hygiene: Ensure that all cleaning materials and equipment are used correctly and safely. Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents, including wet floor signs, proper disposal of hazardous materials, and adherence to sanitation guidelines.
• Restroom Monitoring: Regularly inspect and clean park restrooms, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies and are sanitary for all guests.
• Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain cleaning equipment (e.g., floor scrubbers, vacuums) according to safety standards. Report any malfunctioning equipment or necessary repairs to supervisors.
• Support for Special Events: Assist in maintaining cleanliness during special events, festivals, or peak seasons, including setting up trash stations and cleaning high-traffic areas.
• Environmental Awareness: Contribute to sustainable park operations by participating in recycling and waste management programs.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow janitorial staff and other park departments to ensure the overall cleanliness of the park and a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred, particularly in large facilities or outdoor environments.
