Role Summary
We are seeking an entrepreneurial Sales Leader to spearhead our custom air handling unit sales initiative targeting the Data Centre / Mission Critical market across the USA. This role offers a unique opportunity to build and lead a high-performing sales team, develop a regional presence, and drive exponential growth in one of the fastest-growing sectors.
As the Sales Leader, you will own the business development process for Data Centres and other mission-critical environments, leveraging cutting-edge products. Your role combines strategic leadership, hands-on sales, and team building to establish a revenue-generating operation.
This is a role designed for a driven professional who thrives in dynamic environments, has strong industry connections, and is passionate about scaling a business from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead direct sales efforts in the Data Centre / Mission Critical sector
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to 4x sales quotas within the first few years.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including engineers, consultants, and manufacturers.
- Recruit, onboard, and lead a team of dynamic sales engineers and inside sales engineers to support growth.
- Serve as a servant leader, empowering your team through mentorship, development, and a collaborative approach.
- Position Custom Air Handling Units as the premier solution for data centre cooling challenges.
- Act as a mini-business owner, overseeing P&L, revenue targets, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) or related technical discipline.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas
- Experience with Custom Air Handling Units / HVAC Equipment
- Background in building & leading sales teams.
