ANR DevOps and Linux Administrator

Description

Alaska Northstar Resources (ANR) is seeking a qualified Devops and Linux Administrator to join our industry-leading, Oracle cloud computing team and provide support for a current USAF customer. This position will be remote.

Responsibilities

• Create a strategy to automate and maintain the highest percentage of tests feasible, but no less than 70%, and practical for unit, functional, regression, security, and performance tests.
• May perform analysis of alternatives to recommend and lead efforts to deploy/configure additional test tool best suited for the effort.
• Writing Terraform configurations that leverage local and data blocks to dynamically pull items from the environment, reducing the need to create new objects.
• Providing accurate and realistic effort estimates, commit and deliver accordingly throughout the life of the project.
• Designing and developing test automation scripts, including implementing test automation best practices.
• Working to establish gated criteria and thresholds to support pipeline automation.
• Designing automated test cases that evaluate GIT commits.
• Identifying and tracking test related metrics for improvement in support of release goals.
• Implement test automation best practices.
• Produce accurate and timely reporting of project status throughout the life of the project.
  
  

Requirements

Minimum Candidate Requirements

Candidate must be US Citizen

Candidate must have active DoD Secret Clearance at minimum

Candidate must have active CompTIA Security CE or other applicable 8570 IAT Level II Certification

Candidate must have 8 years experience with the following:

• Working as a self motivated/self starter
• Experience working with Automation and Pipeline Tools (e.g., Jenkins, Maven, ANT, JMeter, ALM/UFT, Selenium, Silk, SonarQube, CAST, Checkmarx, Fortify, AppScan, BitBucket, etc.)
• Developing and implementing an automation strategy
• Creating and enhancing BASH and Python scripts to automate operational tasks.
• Developing and maintaining a FastAPI backend integration with a ServiceNow front end to deploy resources in the environment using Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
