Shore Community Services is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic professional to join our team as the Director of Community Day Services to oversee the combined operations of the Lois Lloyd Center and the Joseph Koenig Training Center. The Director will be responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of program development, quality assurance, fiscal management, and personnel functions for two distinct programs.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the vocational and employment services program and the program for individuals with significant intellectual and developmental disabilities, including Senior services
- Ensure program development, quality assurance, fiscal management, and personnel functions are executed efficiently
- Create meaningful community engagement opportunities and promote inclusivity
- Align programs with the HCBS waiver requirements and DHS guidelines, including codes 31U, 31C, and 53D
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and funders
- Provide leadership and supervision to program staff
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards
- Monitor program outcomes and make recommendations for improvement
- Prepare and manage program budgets
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role in a community-based organization serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of HCBS waiver requirements and DHS guidelines, including codes 31U, 31C, and 53D
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience in program development, quality assurance, fiscal management, and personnel functions
- Demonstrated commitment to promoting inclusivity and community engagement
