Shriners Children's is currently seeking a full-time Intake Coordinator to join our team! The intake Coordinator works cooperatively with medical staff to process and track new patient applications, schedules and monitors new patient internal referrals, clinic appointments and changes, and communicates with families and Shrine Centers regarding status. Triages patient referrals and patient applications by assessing urgency. Handles inquiries regarding referrals and eligibility requirements.
Hours: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
Holidays: 9 observed holidays per year
Pay range for this position is $16.92/hr. - $25.38/hr. The hired applicant's placement within the range is based on qualifications, professional experience and education.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for triage of new patients for appropriate level of scheduling.
- Uses computer to enter patient information into the EMR in an accurate and timely manner.
- Participates in positive and effective communication; demonstrates flexibility of change as required, promotes inter/intra teamwork, works efficiently and demonstrates integrity.
- Consistently meets operational expectations related to attendance, punctuality, meeting attendance, compliance with deadlines, staying current with posted and email communication, etc.
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1 Year of Pediatric scheduling and patient information applications, preferred
- Basic Life Support(BLS), required within 90 days.
