Position Summary: Work with key stakeholders to develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies. Design and implement all material plans and ensure compliance to all purchasing policies. Evaluate quotes and coordinate with vendors to provide required component bids and analyze vendor performances to improve purchasing processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
- Work with key stakeholders to develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies.
- Supervise and administer everyday activities of all purchasing staff and provide training to staff to ensure compliance and monitor all purchasing activities and design various cost reducing methods.
- Understand and apply contract language.
- Evaluate and maintain all reports for inventory levels for Storeroom, Cath/IR, and OR monthly.
- Supervise all audit activities and evaluate purchase orders and payment performance assisting to reduce any discrepancies with invoicing.
- Oversee ERP system use and development, including implementation of upgrades/enhancements
- Analyze and implement GPO contracts
- Along with the Director of Supply Chain, develop and analyze RFP's for various contracts (i.e. Clinical Engineering, Supply Distribution)
Required Qualifications:
Education and Training:
- Associates degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Five (5) or more years in Supply Chain experience with at least three (3) years in Purchasing.
- Previous experience in hospital Purchasing preferred.

The expected pay for this position is listed below:
$28.17 - $35.21
The final offered salary will take several factors into consideration, including but not limited to: licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.
