Job Description: The Maintenance Manager is responsible for all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements, in house and vendor maintenance and billing, and management of assigned aircraft. This position must also keep aircraft owners informed of aircraft status and billing to keep aircraft maintained in accordance with Federal, Manufacturer, Silverhawk Aviation, and owner requirements.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Schedule aircraft maintenance of assigned aircraft to keep aircraft maintained in accordance with Federal, Manufacturer, and Silverhawk requirements and standards.
- Supervise maintenance activities of assigned aircraft to ensure the maintenance standards, methods, and procedures being implemented are compliant with Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Tracks, files, and maintains aircraft records of assigned aircraft.
- Complete weekly, monthly, and pre/post maintenance checks as required by Federal, Manufacturer, and Silverhawk requirements to ensure quality of aircraft in service.
- Assign daily tasks as needed to mechanics employed by Silverhawk Aviation and assigned to manager’s local base.
- Coordinate and approve troubleshooting and repairs with non-company personnel performing maintenance on assigned aircraft.
- Coordinate with the Director of Maintenance to ensure operational readiness of assigned aircraft to maximize aircraft fleet availability.
- Oversee and manage in house and vendor billing, warranty issues, and manufacturer/third party aircraft/engine programs on assigned aircraft.
- Communicate with assigned aircraft owners on aircraft maintenance status, scheduling, billing, and any other owner requests.
- Acquire and maintain ground support equipment as needed to efficiently support in house maintenance capabilities at manager’s local base.
- Acquire, store, and manage consumable and rotable parts needed to efficiently support in house maintenance capabilities at manager’s local base.
- Assist Director of Maintenance as needed with assigned maintenance program projects.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED, required.
- Associates degree in relevant field, preferred.
- Must hold a valid A&P Certificate. Inspection Authorization, preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience maintaining corporate aircraft.
- Proficient with planning, implementation, and direction of the maintenance tracking programs and control system for the aircraft operated (CAMP, Flightdocs, Traxxall).
- Clean FAA Record.
Physical Requirements:
This position must be able to stand, lie, and kneel in awkward positions and spaces, perform work on scaffolding or ladders, lift and pull objects weighing up to 70 pounds at a time, operate hand and power tools, possess visual acuity to inspect equipment and identify defects, and hear well enough to test sounds and identify functioning level of aircraft.
