Industrial Maintenance Manager – Recycling Facility

What You'll Do:
- Lead & Support: Manage and oversee a skilled maintenance team across two shifts, fostering a safety-first, team-oriented environment.
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and oversee PM programs to maximize uptime and efficiency for conveyors, balers, and other industrial equipment.
- Repairs & Troubleshooting: Plan, schedule, and direct repairs, inspections, and improvements to keep operations running smoothly.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities align with OSHA regulations and company safety protocols.
- Team Development: Mentor and train technicians, building a strong, skilled team.
- Vendor & Parts Management: Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source parts and manage maintenance budgets.
What You Bring to the Team:
✔ Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing, recycling, or heavy-equipment setting.
✔ Strong knowledge of conveyors, balers, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
✔ Leadership experience – ability to manage and motivate a multi-shift team.
✔ Expertise in preventive maintenance (PM) programs and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 3 years of people management experience
- Proven experience in maintenance management and facilities operations, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including PLCs, VFDs, motors, conveyors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Experience with troubleshooting and diagnostics of industrial equipment and control systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work effectively under pressure.
- Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other relevant software applications.
