Job Responsibilities
- Display a complete working knowledge of 12 and 24 Volt Electrical Systems, Air Systems, Hydraulic Systems and Power Transmission Systems, employing to diagnose and correct equipment deficiencies.
- Ability to change hydraulic cylinders on equipment.
- Ability to safely disassemble major components from equipment.
- Ability to discern when a piece of equipment is operating properly following corrective maintenance.
- Ability to read parts and service manuals and identify needed parts for ordering.
- Ability to fabricate and install hydraulic hoses.
- Ability to recognize when problems require additional diagnosis and seek assistance when problems are outside of the expectations of a “B” level mechanic to correct.
- Ability to diagnose and correct common failures with mobile equipment.
- Ability to repair or rebuild minor components such as brake systems on equipment, etc.
- 2-4 Years Prior mechanical experience required
- Physical ability to perform heavy labor
- Strong Mechanical Aptitude
