Responsibilities
- Verify insurance information
- Schedule and follow up on appointments
- Enter data and patient information on the EMR system
- Answer and direct calls when needed
- Schedule office surgeries and coordinate dual surgeon procedure
- Notify staff of pre- and post-op care
- Create pre-op folder for clinical staff
- Communication to physicians of daily start times
- Skincare sales
- Frequent communication with patients and email consent forms
- Verify all upcoming cases with hospitals and centers to avoid any time or scheduling conflicts
- Respond to patient calls and emails regarding pre-surgery questions (non-clinical)
- Good customer service skills
- Organization and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of general office equipment
- Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with patients and clinical staff
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
