Job Opportunity: After-School Sports Coach (Part-Time)

Position Details:
- Location: Small School in Spicewood, TX
- Schedule: Two days per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1:45 PM - 3:30 PM)
- with opportunity for more hours as the program grows
- Start Date: January 10th 2025
- Pay: $16 - $19 per hour
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in teaching, coaching, or sports (preferred).
- A love for working with kids and inspiring their growth and development.
- Strong communication, reliability, and organizational skills.
- 18 years or older, with reliable transportation.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead engaging, fun, and age-appropriate skill-based sport sessions for kids using the provided resources and curriculum
- Teach the fundamentals of various sports while fostering teamwork and sportsmanship.
- Create a positive and supportive environment where kids can be successful.
- Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, co-workers, and Skyhawks leadership.
- Perform simple admin tasks, such as tracking class attendance and creating program planners.

Qualifications:
- Prior experience coaching or working with children in a sports or educational setting (preferred).
- Familiarity with various sports and the ability to teach fundamental skills.
- CPR/First Aid certification (we can assist if you don’t have it).
- Background check and child abuse clearances (required).
