Position Overview :
As a Hotel Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibility is to ensure the overall maintenance and upkeep of the hotel's physical facilities and equipment. You will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of the property. Your role is essential in providing a pleasant and comfortable experience for hotel guests.
Responsibilities :
- Preventive Maintenance : Execute regular inspections of hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, to identify potential maintenance issues. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, fixing plumbing leaks, fixing or replacing toilets, fixing sink stopped up, replacing electric outlet (regular or GFCI), cleaning PTAC unit, cleaning carpet, cleaning walls, ceiling, painting, caulking and repairing, fixing or cleaning door and locks or replacing damaged furniture. bed frames or fixtures.

- Equipment and Systems Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment such as boilers, HVAC systems, elevators, and fire safety systems. Keep accurate records of maintenance performed and coordinate with external service providers for more extensive repairs or maintenance requirements.
- Guest Satisfaction : Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints related to maintenance issues. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that guest concerns are addressed and resolved to their satisfaction.
- Collaboration and Communication : Work closely with other hotel departments, including housekeeping and the front desk, to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure minimal disruption to guests. Communicate effectively with hotel management and colleagues regarding maintenance needs, progress, and potential issues.
- Budget Management : Assist in maintaining an inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment. Provide input and recommendations for budget planning and control related to maintenance activities. Identify cost-effective solutions and suppliers while maintaining quality standards.
