The Clinical Director is a full-time, temp-to-hire role in a South Jersey residential treatment center, focused on providing therapeutic services within a supportive environment. This position requires the clinician to work with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapeutic interventions that support client recovery. Responsibilities include conducting individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based practices; creating and updating treatment plans; managing crises on-call; and maintaining thorough documentation within regulatory timelines. The role also involves developing biopsychosocial assessments, treatment, and discharge plans, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and agency guidelines, and promoting a therapeutic environment through psychoeducation.
The Clinical Director collaborates with psychiatrists, nurses, and case managers, upholds ethical standards, and remains sensitive to diverse cultural backgrounds. Supervisory duties include conducting staff meetings, overseeing training and development, fulfilling funder reporting requirements, and ensuring fiscal program sustainability.
Position Requirements
NJ LSW or LCSW and a commitment to maintaining an 80% program census.
