Job Description
· Provide supply chain and consultative services expertise for customer facing technology solutions offered to our customers by Client Medical-Surgical or a Client affiliate. Work with sales team and sales leadership management to assist in pre-sales and sales efforts by representing the supply chain technology portion of the Medical-Surgical offering. Also, work with regional customers to identify and qualify solutions to improve supply chain efficiencies.
· Primary duties include sales activities associated with product demonstrations, participating in sales calls and site visits, sales presentations, lead conference calls and web cast meetings and sales and customer engagements utilizing best practices.
· In addition, the position offers opportunity to be the recognized leader in their respective region regarding supply chain technology solutions for the Extended Care market, and to be instrumental in growing the revenue of that region as part of a multi-billion-dollar business.
· Provide technology solutions and supply chain expertise to assist with closing deals, growing sales for new business as well as retention and penetration for existing customer base.
· Conduct customer presentations for technology sales into the Extended Care market with a working knowledge and understanding of the Extended Care technology and supply chain offerings.
· Provide expertise and advise prospective customers on how supply chain technology would provide value and benefit and drive improvements within the customer’s business.
· Understand and communicate the value of and how Client Medical Surgical technology is used/interfaces with key business partners.
· Lead customer discovery calls and account qualifications for these various 3rd party connectivity solutions.
· Assist Account Managers and sales leadership with targeting new and current customers for qualifying technology leads and provide guidance to achieve sales goals.
· Participate in internal sales calls, training events, sales meetings, and regional trade shows.
· Serve as regional supply chain and customer technology expert to educate and train the sales organization on the value of technology for their customers and best practices. Lead regional workshops with sales teams.
· Train customer on best practices and optimal use of technology within their practice environment for supply chain solutions.
· Provide feedback on product enhancements, product development, process improvement or best practice opportunities.
· Provide effective follow-up and engagement with sales to customer accounts identified as not effectively utilizing technology solutions.
Qualifications
· A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or relevant discipline is preferred or equivalent work experience
· 3 years of experience in healthcare technology sales or sales support role
· Working knowledge of the Extended Care market customers for long term care, home health and other healthcare providers
· Understanding of the Principles of supply chain management
· Exceptional communicator and customer interaction skills / service skills
· Strong sales presentation skills delivered in person and/or through remote sales tools such as web casts and conference calls
· Knowledge of competitive technology offerings and ability to compare to Client customer technology offering
· Ability to communicate technology integration offerings
· May respond to customer request for proposal
· Strong interpersonal/relationship building skills
· Intermediate understanding and use of Microsoft office to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint
· Health care supply chain knowledge
· Results oriented, self-directed and motivated

· Ability to effectively work within a matrix organization
