Business Development Coordinator
The Business Development Coordinator position at the South Valley Chamber requires someone who is energetic, willing to go out and meet business owners and leaders, make contacts, and explain the benefits of the Chamber. This person must possess good people skills and be able to build and foster relationships to help chamber members grow and become involved in all areas of the Chamber.
A primary focus of this position will be to grow the Chamber by recruiting local businesses to register as members. Additionally, this position will be responsible for maintaining ongoing relationships with both existing member businesses and prospective member businesses, making sure they are actively engaged in the Chamber and satisfied with their involvement.
Requirements:
- High school diploma required/some college education or degree preferred.
- Previous experience in member management, sales or recruitment preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to think creatively and take initiative.
- Skilled in writing and editing
- Highly organized
- Team player

Compensation will be considered according to experience and abilities.
Salary plus commission. . Depending on past experience and skill sets the individual could earn $75,000 – $85,000 a year (salary, commission and bonuses)
