MidSouth Pain Treatment Center, a PartnerCare affiliated company, is seeking a Full-Time Advance Practice Provider to join our growing and established practices in Oxford and Tupelo, Mississippi.
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 2 days at each location.
Our practice focuses on taking care of the patient with a comprehensive plan, delivering high customer service, keeping patients safe and well-informed and reducing patients' pain as much as possible.

Our team of physicians, nurses, anesthesiologists, and staff are dedicated to ensuring that patients can improve their quality of life with pain relief that involves the use of cutting-edge technology.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Physician and other Providers to create a safe, balanced, and patient focused approach to pain management and treatment plan.
- Assesses the physical and mental condition of patients by performing and obtaining comprehensive or problem-focused physical examinations and medical histories.
- Orders, collects, interprets, and evaluates laboratory and other diagnostic tests to assess patient problems and health care needs.
- Maintains (accurately, timely and complete) appropriate Electronic Health records detailing the patient’s treatment plans and outcomes. Initiates timely consultation and referral when the problem exceeds scope of practice and/or expertise.
- Counsel's patients and families regarding medical processes, management of the health illness/condition, medication, nutrition, and health promotion. Counsel's patients about drug regimens and possible side effects or interactions with other substances such as food supplements, over the counter medications and herbal remedies.
- Review patient documents to measure the effectiveness and quality of patient care.

Educational & Licensing Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program (AANP or NCCPA Certification).
- Maintains current and unrestricted state license with a DEA with Schedule II.
- CPR certification for Health Care Providers.
- ACLS and BLS certification required.

Qualifications
Ideal Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program (AANP Certification)
- Maintains current and unrestricted state license with a DEA with Schedule II
- Experienced preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
- CPR certification for Health Care Providers
- ACLS and BLS certification required.
