TERRITORY SALES REPRESENTATIVE
JOB SUMMARY
To sell healthcare laundry services to existing and new customers in the Gulf Coast region by establishing new customer
contacts, referral selling using Sales Force database to call on potential customers. The goal is to expand the Southern Sun Laundry
brand in the Medical / Hospitality market by selling healthcare linen laundry products and Hospitality services offered.
We require working knowledge with any of the following:
- Call blocking required one day per week to set up appointments and schedule visitations to review service needs of
customers
- Call on a minimum of 50 new accounts per week and update all prospective customers in sales force and provide weekly
reporting to the Service Manager on activity and results
- Maintain a $175 per week sales average after completing the first 30 days of Smart Start training
- Monitor the competitive landscape and keep management informed of changes and proposed solutions unique to Southern
Sun Laundry
- Ensure the sales process is smooth for new customers as new accounts are passed on to the service team
- Participate in Marketing/ Chamber events and other similar events to market our company and healthcare laundry services
- Present weekly results at weekly sales meeting with the Service Manager, VP of Sales and Service, and other sales
representatives
- Assist the service team with installs of new accounts as needed
Additional requirements:
- Related sales and/or customer service experience; healthcare industry a plus
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Linen Master software a plus
- Good negotiating, closing, presentation and high motivation for sales is required
- Strong selling, networking and relationship building skills
- Ability to work independently and exercise good business judgment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused, results-oriented
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
- Reliable form of personal transportation with valid driver’s license and a good driving record
- Auto insurance coverage that satisfies the minimum state requirements
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in a standard office setting which may involve prolonged periods of
sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Additionally, must be able to work outdoors daily with exposure to an outside
environment, which includes inclement weather. The employee is regularly required to drive, sit, stand, and walk; be able to
occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $550,000.00 per year
