Summary:
Industrial Electrical Contractor is seeking a Project Manager to be responsible for managing key Client projects. The Project Manager’s responsibilities include the coordination and completion of Industrial Projects on time, within budget and within contractual scope of work by promoting teamwork with the Customer, the Company’s Divisional Manager, Superintendent, Foremen, field installation crews, estimators and office support staff.
The Project Manager will oversee electrical construction projects ensuring all policies and procedures are being observed to and work directly with Clients to ensure our deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget and coordinate with the General Contractor and other subcontractors to ensure all aspects of the project are synchronized to fulfill Client’s needs. Lead and direct the work of others with professionalism and integrity.
The Project Manager will report directly to the Industrial Division Manager.
Essential Functions:
· Develop and maintain a network of clientele, vendors and other professional relationships within our industry.
· Provide initial Client contact to assess Client needs for their facility or project.
· Follow and comply with all Company written policies and procedures.
· Prepare project budget and scope review.
· Prepare reports for management regarding status of projects.
· Oversee pre-construction meetings and follow thru to ensure successful hand-off from estimate or quote to the field.
· Participate in engineering, design, and construction review processes as necessary.
· Meet with Clients to clarify specific requirements of each project.
· Interpret plans, specifications, drawings, and documents related to engineering and construction.
· Conduct value-engineering studies of alternative design approaches for sales and installation of services.
· Maintain and improve existing standards and guidelines, implementing industry and company best practices to increase efficiency with safety as a priority.
· Set and adhere to deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project and coordinate with overall project scheduling for installation dates and manpower requirements.
· Prepare, procure and assemble project product submittals, budgets, cost to complete projections, projected billings, project schedules, RFI’s, change orders and all other tasks necessary for a successful project.
· Prepare documentation for all project activities.
· Prepare AIA schedule of values monthly for project billings.
· Coordinate all job permitting, inspections, and closeout procedures.
· Inspect and review project to monitor compliance with project budgets, rates, schedules, quality controls, design intent, building, and safety codes, and other regulations.
· Review and monitor job cost versus budgets for maximum profitability.
· Facilitate and participate in project meetings.
· Coordinate project installations with other trades to resolve critical and time-sensitive issues.
· Facilitate and resolve conflicts and project delays as required to meet project deadlines.
· Supervise procurement of materials to ensure that requested material is in compliance with the project specifications and is expedited and received as needed for the construction of the project.
· Warrant the estimated costs are met or improved upon by working together with the project’s field supervisor by reviewing and streamlining the installation methods and materials.
· Produce all close-out documentation for project completion.
· Ensure that all jobs are completed to the customers satisfaction.
· Conduct post project reviews to determine areas for future improvement.
· Respond and assist in emergency situations.

Experience:
· Minimum of 5 years working experience as a Project Manager for an industrial electrical contractor.
· College degree or completion of 4-year electrical trade school.
Compensation:
· Salary is commensurate with experience, eligible for travel per diem.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
