What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality & Rights Advisor position at Spectrum Human Services?
GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Quality and Rights Officer is a mid-management staff person who leads the efforts in the provision and maintenance of consumer advocacy and rights protection, quality treatment, and programming as assigned. The position requires the ability to handle multiple demands and triage, reliable transportation, extensive travel to homes and community agencies, and the working of a flexible work schedule. Supports culturally competent recovery-based practices and person-centered planning as a shared decision making process.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Bachelor degree in the Human Services field preferred or 8 years of experience in the field.
Experience:
- A minimum of five (5) years experience Human Services field.
- A minimum of five (5) years professional experience in serving/supporting people who are developmentally disabled or mentally ill.
Requirements:
- Must possess a Valid Driver’s License.
- Reliable transportation, ability to travel to other regions as needed.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Completion of all required personnel hiring requirements at the time of hiring.
