What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian position at Speed Commerce?
Summary
Under general supervision, the Custodian shall perform routine manual duties utilizing various electric or manual equipment to keep the work environment safe, clean, and sanitary to compnay standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
(A cleaning checklist with specified frequency for each task for each area will be provided for this role. The cleaning checklist will need to be checked off daily as tasks are completed.)
- Empty trash in all areas.
- Vacuum all carpeted areas of the facility.
- Dust in lobby, conference rooms, & offices.
- Spot shampoo carpeted areas as needed.
- Sweep all entrance mats & stairs.
- Mop all tiled areas.
- Clean & sanitize men's and women's restrooms (all surfaces & floors) - office, contact center & warehouse areas.
- Clean & sanitize all common area surfaces (ex: vending machines, ice machines, drinking fountains, doorknobs, fridge doors, conference room tables, lunch tables & dispensers, air freshener dispensers & seat covers.
- Empty & sanitize interior of sanitary containers.
- Clean inside of microwaves & refrigerators in break room areas.
- Clean windows.
- Monitor & replenish hand sanitizers within the facility.
- Request supplies from Manager as needed.
- Respond to emergency spill/cleanup as needed.
- Keep your tools & equipment used for job tasks clean.
- Other custodial duties as assigned.

Minimum Experience
High School diploma or GED; Six months work experience in a related field; or any combination of educations & experience which provides the required knowledge, skills & abilities.
