Overall Function:

Develops and implements procedures for managing the flow of technical work through the office and assists with monitoring home delivered meals, program and volunteer activities.

Essential Functions:

• Serves as an office staff person providing primary operations support for multiple components of an agency.
• Creates necessary program documents and consumer reports, responsible for their overall accuracy and initiation of related processes and procedures.
• Ability to use a variety of computer software programming for purposes of tracking and reporting.
• Serves as program monitor of the health and well being of home delivered meal consumers, maintaining regular contact with consumers and appropriate providers.
• Assists in planning and implementing special projects, newsletters, fund raisers and other activities as assigned.
• Adheres to all policies, laws, regulations and codes of ethics and confidentiality as outlined by federal and state laws, and agency policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of five years experience or the equivalent combination of experience and training, as determined by the agency, or three years experience as a Secretary 1.
• Knowledge of general office procedures, including interpersonal skills and telephone interaction.
• Demonstrated proficiency on a typewriter and/or computer keyboard.
• Must successfully obtain Criminal History Clearance from the PA State Police and Child Abuse Clearance from the PA Department of Human Services, and FBI Fingerprint Clearances.
• Must not be excluded from participation in Medicare, Medicaid, or any other federal health care programs.
