Clinical Supervisor

Job Summary
The Clinical Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the clinical operations within our healthcare facility. This position is responsible for ensuring high standards of patient care, compliance with medical regulations, and the effective management of clinical staff. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical documentation and patient care, along with comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

Duties

• Supervise and support clinical staff in delivering quality patient care.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Oversee the accurate documentation of medical records and ensure adherence to established protocols.
• Conduct regular training sessions for staff on medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor clinical operations to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
• Provide guidance on best practices in medical documentation and record-keeping.
• Evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance team effectiveness.

Requirements

• Valid nursing license (RN or LPN) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical documentation practices and record management.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Proficient understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a clinical setting is advantageous.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,500.00 - $60,000.00 per year
