INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - 2ND SHIFT
Job Purpose
The Industrial Maintenance Tech is responsible for overall building maintenance activities for Sports Endeavors facilities in Mebane, NC. You will work independently to conduct general maintenance and repairs on embroidery, heat press, screen printing and Direct to Garment equipment. Some duties may also include building maintenance, repairs, plumbing, electrical and light construction.
2nd Shift: 4:00pm - 12:00am

Major Accountabilities/Essential Duties
- Oversees and Completes General Facility Maintenance (minor plumbing, light construction, carpentry, painting, preventative maintenance): Builds trust with direct and indirect business partners, while maintaining facilities to the highest standard.
- Responsible for Electrical Oversight (installation, maintenance, and repairs)
- Assists with Oversight of Subcontractors (multiple Trades): Interfaces with vendors to build business partnerships, obtain quotes, and ensure their timely and accurate completion of projects.
- Ensures All Safety Regulations are Followed (SE, Local, State & Federal): Practices and enforces proper safety practices by all department personnel and ensures all equipment and building safety devices are intact and operational.
- Plans and Prioritizes Work Job Schedules (creates pre-task plans): Maintains current project list for facilities and provides status updates to business partners.
- Maintains Company Records (vendor invoices, vendor maintenance logs, and all facility critical paperwork)
- Adheres to Company Policy and Procedures: Lives the SE Mission through their work. Interacts thoughtfully and courteously with staff and community; Acts and resolves conflict in a professional manner.
- Performs Quality Work within Deadlines with or Without Supervision: Works independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.
- Responds to Emergency and After Hour Maintenance Calls: Including but not limited to system alarms, facility equipment failure, and periods of inclement weather. Shared on call status.
- Completes Production Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance & Repair and Conveyor Systems: (repair/preventative maintenance): Ensures all manufacturing equipment is maintained and repaired in a timely fashion to ensure optimum performance. Experience with means to identify, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC's, control network components and motor controls. Experience with 480V 3-Phase, 110 VAC, and 24VDC systems.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Machine Maintenance Technician and Electrical Experience required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints for all trades.
- Strong knowledge of NEC Code.
- Basic understanding of pneumatics and compressed air systems.
- Intermediate experience with building maintenance systems.
- Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems related to but not limited to 120/208 and 277/480 power.
- Knowledge of industrial busway and the components in which it works is preferred.
- OSHA 10 and NFPA70E desired.
- Valid driver’s license from state of residence and ability to obtain NC license.
- Intermediate skill in computer systems and programs including E-mail, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
