As an Admissions Coordinator at Allaire Health Services, you will play a vital role in the admissions process for our senior healthcare facilities. This position is essential in ensuring that prospective residents receive the highest standard of care from the very first interaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage the admissions process from initial inquiry to final acceptance of residents.
- Provide exceptional customer service to prospective residents and their families throughout the admissions journey.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure accurate care plans are developed for new residents.
- Maintain detailed records of admissions activities and follow up with potential residents as needed.
- Assist with the preparation of necessary documentation for new admissions.
- Coordinate with external partners such as hospitals and referral sources to facilitate smooth transitions.
- Monitor and report on admissions metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Participate in community outreach efforts to promote our facilities and services.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in clerical or administrative roles, preferably within a healthcare setting.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on compassion and empathy.
- Familiarity with medical administrative support processes is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively with clinical teams to develop care plans for residents.
- Experience with office systems; familiarity with Eaglesoft is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of medical collections processes is beneficial but not mandatory.
