Position Overview:
The Marketing Communications Designer will play a key role in amplifying our brand, engaging our audience, and enhancing our presence in the marketplace with impactful designs and messaging. This multi-faceted role combines graphic design, social media and daily digital and print marketing initiatives that support goals and drive brand awareness. We’re looking for a creative individual with graphic design and social media experience, looking to be a key-stakeholder in various marketing deliverables to achieve goals and help grow our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Graphic Design: Develop high-quality visual content for digital and print marketing projects/campaigns including Ads, social media, websites, event displays, catalogs, cards, brochures, banners and emails.
- Content Creation: Produce cohesive visual and written content that reflects our brand’s presence and messaging within B2B and B2B/DTC marketplaces. Experience with photography and videography a plus.
- Social Media Content & Management: Design and post social media content that engages followers and grows audiences. Assist in monitoring analytics to optimize strategy and drive growth.
- Trade Show & Training Events: Attend strategic meetings and gather details needed in order to concept and design booth and event assets, create promotional materials, and compile/prepare design assets following an event calendar.
- Project Management: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all marketing materials are cohesive, timely, and meet our quality standards.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in graphic design, social media management and marketing services.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and experience with social media platforms such as Facebook, Linked In, Instagram and YouTube.
- Familiarity with trade shows and/or event planning a plus as graphic elements will be designed to support outings.
- Time management is critical; candidate must be comfortable managing workload to meet strict deadlines and will be required to provide routine updates on tasks/projects.
- Strong communication and organizational skills required.
- Ability to multi-task and pivot as needed on projects is essential.
- Able to share a portfolio showcasing design capabilities across digital and print media is preferred.
