Job Title: Experienced Child Care Teacher (Floater Position)

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Child Care Teacher to join our team in Winter Haven. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and their families. The ideal candidate will be motivated, dependable, and passionate about providing high-quality care and education in a nurturing environment.
As a Floater Teacher, you will assist with providing breaks for staff, covering for lead teacher vacations, and supporting the classroom needs as they arise. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in early childhood education who enjoys variety and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented setting.
Responsibilities:
Support lead teachers in managing classroom activities and routines.
Provide supervision and care for children in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.
Step in as needed to cover teacher breaks, vacations, or absences.
Ensure children's individual needs are met, including health, emotional, and developmental needs.
Maintain effective communication with parents and team members.
Participate in maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment.
Assist in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
Qualifications:
Experience in child care or early childhood education preferred.
CDA (Child Development Associate) or FCCP (Florida Child Care Professional) certification preferred.
Dependable, flexible, and self-motivated with a passion for working with children.
Ability to adapt to different classrooms and age groups.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must pass background check and be CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain).
