The Information Services Department is seeking a full-time Information Librarian to provide quality information service to meet the information needs of customers and staff, with a focus on supporting small business owners and workforce development.
Hours :
Mondays : 11 : 45 a.m. - 8 : 15 p.m.
Tuesdays - Fridays : 8 : 30 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m.
Saturdays and Sundays as needed
Responsibilities :
- Assists Library customers and staff with the use of reference and circulation materials in print and electronic formats to respond to needs in a timely manner.
- Responds to all questions to meet customer and staff needs.
- Supports the planning, promotion, and development of the Small Business Center.
- Prepares and conducts classes and tours to educate staff and customers in the use of reference materials.
- Works cooperatively with Information Services Department staff and others to ensure quality information service.
