Summary

• JOB SUMMARY
  • Pharmacist in Charge is responsible for pharmacy activities conducted at Lake View Hospital and is designated the Pharmacist in Charge with the Minnesota State Board of Pharmacy. Duties include; daily operations, participation on committees, conducting and reporting drug utilization evaluations, evaluating relevant drugs being considered for addition to the formulary, responsible for training pharmacists and pharmacy technicians , participating in quality assurance initiatives, and acting as a preceptor for Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience (IPPE) and Advanced Practice Pharmacy Experience (APPE) students.
• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
    Experience: N/A
    Licensure/Certification/Registration: Minnesota License upon hire.
• PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education: N/A
    Experience: Two (2) years pharmacy experience. Pharmacy Practice (PGYI) residency or equivalent experience.
    Licensure/Certification/Registration: Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Pharmacist (BCPS).
