What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Service Assistant position at St?
St. Barnabas is hiring multiple shifts for FSAs!
Essential Duties as Food Service Assistant (FSA):
- Serve prepared food during food service to resident dining room & work staff dining room
- Stocking of satellite kitchens
- Bussing and washing of dishes
- Setting up trays and dining room tables
- Cleaning of all work areas assigned by Supervisor, Unit Manager, or Cook
- Record breakfast, lunch, and dinner food temperatures
- Record dish wash machine and rinse temperatures
- Other duties as needed
Qualifications as Food Service Assistant (FSA):
- Must be able to stand for long periods and walk short distances
- Must be able to stoop and kneel depending on the job
- Must be able to reach and lift kitchen equipment
- Must be able to lift up to 85 lbs.
Education and Experience:
- Previous food service experience helpful but not required (Training will be provided)
