Stahl & Associates Insurance, a Higginbotham Insurance partner, has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Lines Assistant to join our dynamic team Longwood, FL office. We are looking for an energetic, highly motivated insurance professional who can provide superior service to our commercial clients, while enjoying a collaborative culture and excellent work/life balance.
This position will assist the Commercial Lines team with servicing existing P&C clients and new business prospects by performing the following duties: processing certificates of insurance and Motor Vehicle Records for commercial accounts; reviewing policies and endorsements, and updating applications in the Agency Management System; reviewing carrier websites to obtain applicable information pertaining to the daily servicing of commercial accounts; policy checking; processing endorsements; processing direct bill renewals; accepting, documenting and processing payments; handling phone requests and providing quality customer service to build and maintain client relationships. This individual may also provide back-up coverage for the receptionist, as needed.

- Excellent interpersonal and customer services skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Capable of completing tasks efficiently and accurately with strong attention to detail
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Strong computer literacy, including working knowledge of MS Office, Outlook and Teams
- Agency Management System experience required, Applied EPIC experience preferred
- Knowledge of insurance terminology, processes and workflows helpful
- Must have a current FL 4-40 or 2-20 insurance license, or be willing to obtain quickly
