Job Summary:
The Maintenance Sanitation Helper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the facility. This role includes cleaning machine equipment, assisting in equipment maintenance, and ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for all employees and visitors. The position also involves supporting the maintenance team and adhering to health and safety regulations.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of production areas, restrooms, break rooms, and other facility spaces.
- Assist in cleaning and maintaining equipment, tools, and machinery to ensure proper functioning.
- Follow sanitation procedures and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Help with waste management, including sorting and proper disposal of waste materials.
- Report maintenance or safety issues promptly to the supervisor.
- Support the maintenance team with tasks such as equipment repairs and inventory management.
- Participate in training sessions and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in sanitation or maintenance roles is a plus.
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and sanitation standards.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in sanitation or maintenance roles is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Ability to work in various physical positions, including standing, kneeling, and crouching for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in indoor and outdoor environments, subject to weather conditions.
