Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant within the Quality & IT Department will play a pivotal role in supporting the department's daily operations. This position involves managing administrative tasks, assisting with quality control processes, and supporting IT functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, proficiency in IT systems, and a keen eye for quality assurance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Quality & IT Department, including data entry, managing audit calendars, and maintaining records.

Documentation: Prepare and manage documentation related to quality assurance processes, IT projects, and departmental reports.

Quality Control Assistance: Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Data Management: Maintain and update databases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy for quality and IT-related information.

Communication: Serve as a liaison between the Quality & IT Department and other departments, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.

Project Coordination: Assist in the coordination and execution of departmental projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project goals.

Inventory Management: Manage inventory of IT equipment and quality control tools, ensuring availability and proper maintenance.

Training Support: Assist in organizing and conducting training sessions for staff on quality assurance practices and IT systems.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the department and contribute to the implementation of efficient practices.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, preferably within a quality control or IT department.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with IT systems and software.

Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with staff at all levels.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Conducts work in both a field-type environment and in a professional office setting with local travel to jobsites to conduct inspections.

Extended periods of reading fine print on a computer or in paper-based format.
