IT Level 1 Support

Description of the role:

The IT Level 1 Support position at Starling Chevrolet in Orlando, Florida involves providing technical assistance and support to ensure the efficient operation of the company's IT systems. The role requires excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with end-users.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
• Respond to support tickets and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems, escalating complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of network and telecom equipment
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of IT documentation
• Ensure security and privacy of systems, networks, and data
• Provide basic training and guidance to end-users on IT systems and software

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 - 2 years experience in a customer support or IT support role
• Strong technical knowledge of computer systems, software, and hardware
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
