What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clerical Coordinator-Centralized Scheduling PRN position at Starr Regional Medical Center?
Starr Regional Medical Center is currently seeking talent to fill the position of Clerical Coordinator for our Centralized Scheduling department. This job is permanent, full-time.
Core competencies include, but are not limited to the following:
- Develops, maintains, and coordinates daily outpatient schedule with physician offices and clinical manager to ensure patient flow
- Facilitates communications among caregivers, patients and visitors to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.
- Performs all clerical/computer functions to support patient care delivery.
- Stocks unit with office and medical supplies and prepares requisitions to maintain inventory levels.
- Answers the telephone in a professional manner and directs calls or takes messages.
- Faxes and photocopies information as requested by staff.

Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent: Preferred X Required
