This position requires two (2) or more years of previous and recent experience as an assistant manager at a 200 unit apartment community located in Sandy Springs, GA.
Sterling Realty Management is seeking an individual to work in a team-based, collaborative setting as an assistant manager at one of its apartment communities. This is a busy, attractive and well-maintained, 200 unit garden-style community with a highly desirable office workplace environment. Assist a supportive, positive-thinking property manager who works hard to ensure that this is a fun and a productive place to work, so you can be both successful and grow in your important role!
You will be a critical member of our onsite team, providing direct assistance to the property manager in the daily operations of the community, and managing the property in the manager’s absence. You will assume a lead role in timely processing onsite activity and preparing reports for accounting and corporate management. You will interact with residents, other team members, vendors, and the public.
Estimated compensation for this position is $23/hour, plus commissions of $225 per lease and $20 per renewal.
Position requires applicants to undergo pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Some job specifics:
- Provide primary support to the property manager performing delegated responsibilities that are essential to efficient and effective management of the property.
- Manage the property in the property manager’s absence.
- Perform recordkeeping functions using the RealPage OneSite property management system, prepare or assist in preparation of management reports using Microsoft Excel, and help process payables information.
- Conduct move-out inspections, prepare damage estimates, and process final security deposit accounting.
- Assist the property manager with coordination of turnkey.
- Process rent collections, notify and collect delinquent accounts and returned checks, and file dispossessories.
- Conduct physical tours and inspections of the property, amenities and available units.
- Rotate with the office staff to work weekends. (Our leasing offices close on all major holidays. We pay a full 8-hour day when you work our shorter weekend days.)
Physical requirements:
- Lift or carry at least 25 lbs.
- Climb or descend multiple flights of stairs.
- Tour and inspect the property and apartment unit interiors in hot or cold weather.

Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
