Description
TITLE: Child Care Provider
REPORTS TO: The Principal and the Child Care Director
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Hold a high school diploma.
Introduction to the Childcare Profession Course (or equivalent).
Satisfactorily complete required background criminal records check.
Complete Safe Environment Training prior to start date.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Display and practice the Christian values expected of Catholic school staff.
Exhibit enthusiasm for staff position.
Model mature judgment and emotional stability.
Present professionally in terms of attire, communication, and demeanor.
Exhibit good organizational skills.
Have knowledge of and demonstrate basic technology skills. (E-mail, Word, PowerPoint, Smart Boards, Google Docs, etc.)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Abide by the guidelines of the Employee Handbook, Archdiocesan Policies, and locally determined policies (School Committee and Parish Council).
Attend functions for the betterment of the school community.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Childcare Director and/or the Principal.
Be knowledgeable of the newsletter, athletic and general school activities and calendar information.
Support out-of-school special events to promote the Early Childhood/Childcare Program.
Be especially aware of your role as an Ambassador of St. Francis Borgia Catholic School.
WORK HOURS: As determined by the Childcare Director. Hours may fluctuate based on daily census.
